Annotated Monologue (Interior)

Capital T That very day
She stepped out to
sunlight bathing the street
Stopping to buy flowers,
fussing over visual imagery

Blushing roses, pure white
lilies chasing purple orchids
The flower seller
Quotation marks,
Mine are the best
In all the park.

As she crossed the square,
alliteration,
Strange sentimentality survived.
Suddenly comma,
A chance encounter,
an old love arrived

And there she was.
