Well I recently moved to the coast. I have the esteemed pleasure of living practically on the coast. I have the waves as a lullaby. This got me thinking. what would it be like to be a man of the sea and doomed never to touch it.
You opinion on this would be highly appreciated. NO matter how good or bad.

Saddened stretch of sea suffers his form,

As the lap of tide pulls away in its scorn

of the sea side sand man lost in his torn

shade of the man who ruled the sea,

Always the waves come crashing down.

Stars bend their light in gentle mercy

As his bound frame strides never free

It drifts on the edges of that we can see

the shade of the man who loved the sea,

always the waves come crashing down.

He bounds his days locked in sand

His punishment at the great oceans command

Forever for his failure will sailor be damned

The shade who thought he ruled the sea

always the waves come crashing down

Once, yes just once more does he dream.

Yes just once more may he be seen,

Oh please his ship but once to lean

On the wheel, the shade steering his tiller into the sea.

And always the waves come crashing down.
