Anger and Rage are Powerful Human Emotions that can deliver instant pleasure when they are released. They are sometimes uncontrollable.

Sometimes we break pieces off our own foundation.

Why does destruction come so easy?

My cruelty is an instinct that was never learned, yet

It is ferocious and ready to attack when I am threatened

I still feel that the harsh words needed to be said

Perhaps I agree that my actions were extreme.

My anger is like gunpowder when ignited

It is like an element that cannot be controlled

To let it rage and hurt yields me with profound pleasure

For my message of hate must impale you

So you will listen and I will know that you are listening

Because I see the pain that I am causing in your eyes

Which cannot compare to the pain that I am nursing inside

I may not physically control you, but I can manipulate you

In this instant, I will win the argument because my anger

Does not recognize you or your relation

You are wrong and I am right and it is a principle

So I cut and chisel you into small pieces

Tearing you away from my being like a limb that I am sacrificing

I scatter you away until there is no more for you to tear into

And then the silence comes with nothing else to say

I’m sorry
