A small girl of about 5' 1'' yawned lightly as her alarm clock switched on the radio full blast. Groaning, she sat up before glaring at the clock. Six o'clock the red letters seemed to shout at her. This is absolutely absurd. Rubbing her eyes, the red head rolled out of her warm bed and wrapped her thin arms around her cold body. Grabbing her bath towel off her door handle she set the soft material about her shoulders.
Upon entering her bathroom, she shed her clothes and stepped directly into the shower, cranking the heat up as high as her tender skin could handle. Washing her hair with her favorite watermelon shampoo and conditioner, she felt refreshed and awake. After cleaning the rest of her body, she stepped out, wrapping the towel once more about her body, tossing her dirty clothes into the hamper and heading back to her domain.
If only that stupid job hadn't opened up. The girl thought bitterly before her mother knocked lightly on her door. "Rain darling, we need to leave in an hour." Orchid whispered through the doorframe.
"Yes mother." Rain replied in a sing-song voice before stepping over to her closet. Sorting through the strange patterned tops, long skirts, torn jeans, and her jackets, Rain pulled out a bright yellow top with the words 'Stop Bitching And Start A Revolution' in big bold letters, with a pair of torn jeans and her favorite pair of converse. They had once belonged to the lead singer of Band of Horses, but at their concert, he took one off and threw it into the crowd. Rain had been dragged onto the stage with the band and given a V.I.P. pass. He had given her the matching shoe at the end of the show and invited her to dinner with the band. Ever since Rain had worn them almost every single day.
