My friend are you
As you were
Did time change?
Or did you differ?
Loved you my friend
That was the only choice
The only signal we send
The only mellow voice
Where are you now?
Lost in the signals
We speak in wisdom and vows
Not one of them lingers
Have we lost heart?
Or just use too many minds
Should we push restart
And recount our finds
If you speak of love
I speak about the truth
You sigh and look above
Our heart says what’s the use?
Friends, a word that outlasts marriage
The spouse dies and lives
But the friend dies while alive
The other friend lives if he forgives
