There were too many thoughts were going through my mind while this poem was coming up...its difficult for me to write clearly about all of them.

\"Empty

Let’s come to the point and meet,

at the center of an empty street.

Then I can always tell you,

we are part of the same breed.

Our fore fathers were fighting together,

for the pride of that vanishing tribe.

And as the story goes, if you just listen

they ended up, following a different creed.

And the rebel in you O my brother,

a thorny branch from the same seed.

The haste in which you mouth your words

sure sign of a pressing need.

Don’t forget that I have forgiven,

wounds of that pent-up greed.

There is nothing, which we can’t discuss,

and come out totally freed.

So collect your bones come for debate,

and carry a blank sheet.

The call has always been there,

if you can just hear and heed.

Come I will face you once again,

at the centre of that empty street.
