This helped me sleep.

Night has fallen.

But not upon me?

For it is dark out yet my eyes stay wide.

Why can I not rest as the sun has?

I wish to sleep.

but my mind wishes not.

Why can't I rest as the birds have?

Why has night fallen,

but not upon me?
