The end of the world had happened

Acid rain fell from the sky

The zombie apocolypse came

We all thought we would die

The earth was left in ruin

The buildings all burnt down

The animals were all gone

The sky was full of clouds

When night would come

The stars could not be seen

You had to watch your back

Or it would be bitten right off of you

The rain that fell was green

It burned right through the ground

We had to carry weapons

We had to steal and cheat and bribe

The world was against us

The lights had all gone out

The sun had gone

The moon had died

And inside

So did I

But what keeps me alive

Is the hope of one day

When I open my eyes

I will once again see blue sky
