A poem I wrote for a contest this is based on Hold Me Now by the Thompson Twins!

How many times can we go in circles,

Do you love me or do you not,

This game we play is tearing us apart,

I can’t play anymore.

Maybe I should leave,

I’m a dreamer you are not,

We are two of a kind,

Can I sing a new song now?

There’s no where I’d rather be,

Than right here with you,

Hold me here and warm my heart,

Please don’t cry anymore.

I really like this too, this judging business sux. I've never judged a poem before, usually I like them or don't.

I like this, it is emotive and lyrical. I guess anyone who has been through relationship bs can identify.

Well done.
