In a distopian society of the future what will happen?

In the 5000 years since the Earth was engulfed by the sun things have changed a lot; we have migrated into a different solar system. Man has turned on man, brother against brother fighting for food, drink and life. We still remember some of the old ways, drinking extensively to the point where the toxins nearly over came us! This is now seen as a criminal offence, we are often breathalysed, if any trace of alcohol is found then we can face 20 years imprisonment.

The 3 clans have been at war now for hundreds of years, using the plutonium reactor barrel guns and extranium gas.  Millions have died to the cause. Whatever side they are on, they are visionaries who will stop at nothing. These clans are the ‘Falconers deathbringers’, the ‘Killer bloodlusting dogs of doom’ and the  ‘Snakes of hades’. These clans have all given their men in a fight for power. Everything you have to fight for, if you are not associated in these clans then you are anialated. The most recent invention is that They use these great glowing rifles, with batteries bigger than a human head, and each faction's lasers are pigmented with a different colour; green for the 'Falconers', blue for the 'Bloodlusting Dogs' and red for the most feared clan, the 'Snakes of Hades'

You are forced to fight if you are a male from the age of 7, if you refuse, you are of course annihilated, we do not allow women to fight of course, they are hard at work making weapons, if we did let them fight as we once did, then there would be no one left to have children to fight and make weapons. No one can remember how the great changers of each clan came into being, there are however many rumours that they were the size of the tallest mountain and as small as the smallest mouse! The changers changed form but their clans are named after there main animal, the leader of the  ‘Falconers deathbringers’ was often depicted as a Falcon, the leader of the ‘Bloodlusting Dogs’ a hound that looked like a torturer from hell and the leader of the ‘Snakes of Hades’ a serpent that ate its victims whole.

On the 74th of Obrillo, the ‘changers’ festival’  begins and it lasts for another 10 days, after which all of the clans go back to fighting. On the first day of the ‘changers’ festival’, there is a traditional game called beat the other, when 70 boys aged between 12 and 16 are given clubs and beat each other to death. The heats are done in groups of 5 but there can only be one winner! The air is filled with the scent of rotting flesh and the sound is like a stampede of elephants! It is like what the humans used to call the gladiators but this is better, we have a huge stadium and all the clans come together and drink each other's drinks.

Good story. Reminds me a lot of the Iron Bowl and spring break at Panama City.
