These are my thoughts when my daughter got married and left to begin her life as a wife.

Daughters like flowers when they bloom,

Beautify every nook and corner of every room;

Her hair-bands and rubber-bands all over the place,

When not found on time she makes an annoying face.

Her green funny frog and her little doll,

Remind me of her clinging to them all.

She'd put the music blaring and loud,

Only then she could cook, of that she was proud.

She'd keep me busy with her latest finds,

Be it music, a thought or a relation that binds.

She never let me be gloomy or tensed,

Cause every thought and nerve of mine she sensed.

So loving, so affectionate so charming nowhere to be found,

She's loved by one and all those who are around.

May God shower all His blessings on you my dear,

We'll always adore you, whether you'r far or near.
