You always have been the one to wonder of flying
but you never mentioned it takes a rope to do so
The beings from above and beyond would sing
and we would wave at the sun today, but no
-
Entrapped ethereal winds tried to free itself
As everything I have known slipped through my fingers
The scarecrows have marched, nothing was left
Your soul have grown weary and it gives me shivers
-
The river remains tranquil, but a sinking feeling stirred.
The poets have hung their hat, but words are reaching out
That moment, I knew, our plans and crimes just blurred
and I start to worry I have nothing to rant about
-
All of a sudden, I knew every sad words
That ceases to exist
Wrapped in a tangled web, bound to stay like this
Like kids who threw their puzzle for a piece that never missed
-
The bluest blue within words that I could no longer fathom
and the darkest days that you could no longer brighten
now finally lay hand in hand
As the cruel world you left took your last breath
