The snow falls quitely,
like heavens frozen tears.
She cried along with the angels,
all though these lonely years.
How could something so beautiful
be take away that quick?
Was it a joke
or some awful trick?
She is buried in the white forest,
where they used to meet.
Her frozen corpse is lying,
beneath her lovers feet.
He doesn't know shes there,
despite the love they share.
He showed up late,
now he must mourn over
his dead soul mate.
He didn't show up that day,
try as he may.
She waited for him so long,
so finally down she lay.
She felt so lonely,
she felt so lost.
How could he leave her
dying in the frost?
She tried so hard
just to be brave.
Now she is lying
forever in her icy grave.
