Dreams take you to such exotic destinations that do not even exist...How great is that!!!

NOMAD

With this capsule tethered to my cot

I flit through realms of space and time

A nomad of a different kind

With no fixed destination

I travel like a king all the time

I am my master, My own guide

I always journey through the night

Picturing perfections and feeling all light

Through surreal streets and grand designs

Elated at my break from line

I decide my own destination

And take the wheels of my own design

I hurry along to take in the signs

To give back to those who’ve joined the line

I am their escape from mundane lives

I regale them with new tales and rhyme.

Their dreams too now I recognize,

I’ve seen them with my own two eyes

The beauty of seeing without experiencing

Holds me captive till the morning light.

I am a wanderer, a nomad for all time

When reality fades, my dreams bear light.

Those beautiful times when dreams merge with reality.... you've talked of them so lovingly and wistfully. I especially liked:

That is what you have done with this poem. It gives an added dimension to the entire experience.
