I wrote this about my table. I know what your thinking, who writes about tables? well i do. I find it amazing how when we go to clean something off everything turns into a keeper.

I have a little table

Which is as messy as a stable

Most say its covered with junk

Piles and piles of stuff in a hump

But everything has a meaning to me

There is a little wooden box

In which holds the tooth of a fox!

The old gum wrappers?

Im going to make them into a quilt for my nutcracker!

As for those empty pop cans

Im drawing the logos, the drawings will be quite grand!

As for the gazillion pennies thrown about, 100 of them make a dollar you know

And the rocks...eh...well there just for show

Inside the filthy sock lies my worms

Those old fortune cookies have important terms!

The half eaten hotdog most would throw away

But i might get hungry....someday

And that torn put page from a book

I might find the rest of it and wanna take a look!

So as you now see

All this junk means something to me

Except that annoying alarm clock

You can throw that away
