So, unless you are homeschooled or grew up in a field used to grow potatoes, chances are you went to school. But what about private schools? Or boarding schools? It was all very simple several decades ago. Scottish people were barbarians, English schools were the best and no matter where you lived you had to wear tights. But that's what the rich people thought. The poor or middle/working class could not afford to go to school, so they could not write down their thoughts and make them appear as fact. The law makes some schools free so every child has an education, but there is no law which states children get an equal education. This means that rich kids can say they went to tights academy for the rich and get a job they do not need, as their parents can pay them for life anyway. I don't think this is fair, as it means that somewhere, a spoilt brat is being taught how to speak Latin so they can have their own perfume and be known as the richest heiress in the world. I will be working at a job for minimum wage, because my parents are not distantly related to some Duke who died at the age of forty because everyone hated him. For about the past two months I have been doing the exact same thing in each subject at school everyday because the exams for the seniors have started. The teachers are too busy to bother with teaching new things to younger students and the school cannot afford to hire more staff. I will have to wait until next year to learn something new and then after afew months of this I will continue to learn the same thing phrased differently for the remainder of the term. Several parents have phoned to complain about the lack of homework and actual classroom activity, and they have not realised that it isn't the school's fault. It's not a case of they won't, it's a case of they can't. I would ask to move schools to one that could afford to give me an education, but I am terrified of moving schools and I would have to go to a private school, as public schools never have money. But my parents cannot afford to send me to private school, and I don't want to go. Most rich kids are spoilt and stupid. Rich people say normal people use 'street smart' as an excuse for stupidity. But really, I know a lot of rich people who are in lower classes than me. And they will not know that the wrong football colours can kill you, or the right credit card can get you mugged. I am good at school and street smart because I have worked hard in and out of school. I have done this so that some day I will be competing with a rich person for a job. I will be chosen because I have good grades, and I am still alive with the right colours on.
