Swirling turbulence at its source

Breaking away with terrible force;

Anything that obstructs its path.

Then its volume swells

Its work increases and intensifies

Making its way down to the plain.

Meandering this way and that

Often it is out of its own control,

The water overflow its banks,

Flooding the neighbouring lands

Bringing disaster---- later hence

Replenishing the survival of many.

Then comes the eternal longing for its meeting with the sea

Though it loses much of its energy,

Its journey has to go on.
