As I was sitting in Adoration during a Catholic work camp I go to, I was inspired to write this. So I began writing it while I was sitting there, and finished it later. I hope you enjoy it!

~~Oh how great is the God of Love!
He never gives up on me.
He comes down like a dove.
His love sets me free.

He looks down upon his people.
As I kneel and pray.
I could shout his love from a steeple!
Thanking him for giving me this day.

He is always there.
Even when I have committed a sin.
He still has a care.
Every wound you may have he will mend.

He died on the cross to save us from sin.
He knows us before we are created.
He only wants us to know and love him.
Remember if we are hated, he was once hated.

He stretched out his arms
to save this world.
Defeating the devil’s charms.
The new he opened and the old he furled.

Now he is up in Heaven.
But he is always watching us from above.
To him he wants us to beacon.
For he has unfailing love.
