Religion is one of the most debateable topics to talk about in the world. I share the main character in my novel Sydney's attitude towards religion. I just don't beleive that there is a god. it never made sense to me. As a kid, I grew up in a Catholic household. My father was Japanese and a secular Buhddist. My mom was a conservative Catholic who made us go to church every Sunday, and she still does.

Things got worse when I found out that I was bisexual.

I didn't feel confortable with living with a religion that doesn't tolerate my sexual orientation. They said it was a "disease"and I don't see anything fucking wrong with my sexual orientation! I still haven't summened up enough courage to come out to my parents.

Any religion that thinks people who are GLBT are diseased is not the faith for me.

I also had issues with the cross. I feel very uncomfortable that a form of tourture is made and icon in Catholicism. It's pretty sick when you think about it.

The bible contradicts itself a lot. For example, it says that it is okay to sell your daughter into slavery. Not even in Nevada! It says that it is a shame upon a man to have long hair. Is Jesus somehow an exeption? People pick and choose what to beleive and what not to beleive, which isn't really fair.

If you are conservativly religious, you will probably hate me, but, FUCK YOU! I can live my own life the way I want to, so FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
