Sir Writer and The Demon

“I said enough!” The writer snaps the pen within his hand, then shreds the pages on his desk. “I demand you take what was promised!” Once the pages are no more he turns to the desk to see they have returned. “Reveal yourself!”

“You truly are bitchy today.” A voice echoes as a shadow appears before him. The voice is disorient, full of malice, yet unisex to the ears. “What form do you wish to see?”

“I care not!” He answered while throwing his hand up. “A deal’s a deal. I’ve lived up to mine, now do as you said you would!” The shadow approached the writer before grabbing him by the throat.

“I am God here, you piece of shit.” The writer struggled as the shadow formed flesh. “I gave you the ability to write, to spread my will, and you will continue.” The newly formed girl tossed him aside.

“I-I rather die!” He slowly began to stand only for her to kick him back down. “Sir Writer, you are nothing without me. I have given you purpose and fulfilled your dreams of making a living with words. I’ve even given you a chance to sway the heart of the one you loved.”

“You took her life.” He sighed while on the ground.

“I can return it.” She said as her skin began to shift.

“The deal is you will take my soul. Do it!” She kneeled over him and sighed.

“I hate you, now. It can’t be for no reason.” She put her hand to her face to hide the smile deformed by sharp teeth. “When I loved you, you were so into living. Even if it wasn’t for me.”

“That was a long time ago, my demon.” She placed a hand to his head.

“Ok, my dear. You’ve wasted enough of my time. As you promised, you will be mine for all of eternity.”

  “And forever after...”
