We all know about the sin called Lust. Most of us have felt this way before at some point in time. The confusing question of whether you're in love or you're just lusting after them.

I lay in bed staring up at my ceiling.  I could still feel my heart beat thumping against my skin like a two year old on a sugar high.  I took a deep breath to try to calm myself down.  I slowly turned my head and watched her angelic face sleeping.  I lifted my righ hand and gently stroked her face.  I didn't notice that I had stopped breathing until her eyes fluttered open.

She smiled at me and I waiting for five seconds before I could return one myself.  She moved closer to me and pressed her forehead against my chest.  I kissed the top of her head. I didn't know what to say.  Should I say that I loved her or say nothing at all?  Do I truly love her? These questions ran through my head as we laid there under the covers.

I heard a sigh escape her lips and looked down.  She was now staring straight into my eyes.  Her mouth moved but I didn't hear anything.  It moved again and I shook my head.

"Do you love me?" She asked me.

I stayed silent for a few moments.  I had to answers for this question.  One:  "Of course I do! I couldn't live without you.  I've loved you since I first laid eyes on you."  Second:  I honestly don't know.  I'm not sure whether what I'm feeling is love or lust."

I take another deep breath and cleared my mind.  I didn't think I just said, "I love you and always will."  This not only surprises her but also myself.  Guess I knew this was love the whole time.
