Commandment Acceptance To Thy Lord...

Thy Commandments To My Lord

"And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…"

Commandment 1:

God says, 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

Yes, Lord, I shall have no other gods before you.

Commandment 2:

God says, 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

My Father, I will not make myself any idols to worship.

Commandment 3:

God says, 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

Ye Jehovah, I shall ask for forgivness and profess a drive to not take the name of the Lord your God in vain in the future.

Commandment 4:

God says, 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

My Lord, I will keep thy Sabbath day holy.

Commandment 5:

God says, 'Honor your father and your mother.'

Thy Yahweh, I honor my father and mother, I pray my days be long upon this land which you Lord, my God, have given me.

Commandment 6:

God says, 'You shall not murder.'

Holy Father, I shall not murder and pray for you to commute any sentence from past services.

Commandment 7:

God says, 'You shall not commit adultery.'

My Savior, I will not commit adultery and pray that in past temptations, I profess my weakness, forgive me Lord.

Commandment 8:

God says, 'You shall not steal.'

Our Creator, I shall not steal and for my past trespassings, please pardon my soul.

Commandment 9:

God says, 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

My Almighty, I will not bear false witness against my neighbors.

Commandment 10:

God says,'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

Lastly, Father, I will not covet my neighbor’s house, wife, nor anything that is my neighbor’s property.

This is one of the most moving of all the soul bearing pieces of work I've seen thus far. It's a testament of cummunion between the creator and the imperfect, yet humble human spirit. An Impressive portrayal of how carnal humanity falls short of God's expectations and of God's merciful grace... I truly love what your words have created.
