Worthy
A corner chair,
missing a single leg,
behind the poster reads,
"To hell with em all".
I languish afloat,
on a river so cold,
never any acclamation,
to steer my scow so.
My core stripped out,
no appreciation is warranted,
finally at peace,
the imposter gainsays.
I am worthy,
I am just,
devoid of any praise,
They say I own.
I am worthy,
I am so blessed,
to live my life,
and relinquish their mess.
I am Worthy!
