A poem about presenting nothing but a façade to the world when I'm really hurting terribly inside.
Not very well developed as a literary work, but it's OK for fluff.

Do you know
What's in my head?
The horrible thoughts
That go unsaid

The silent scream
The pain unending
I'm broken in pieces
And I need mending

The hidden scars
The need to cry
I say I'm OK
But it's really a lie

A practiced pretender
I'm happy and free
It's the perfect façade
But it's not really me

My skills are my downfall
I fake it too well
I'm dying inside
But no one can tell
