I Dread The Day

I dread the day

Of my final breaths

Why do we have to die?

I just don't get it

The world spins forever

But we don't

A tree lives forever

But I won't

I could go on and on

About how life is already

__fucked up

But won't

Everyday I wake up

Is one less day to live

Every dream I wake up from

Is taking away

One more dream from my future

Eventually I will be "out of this world"

As if I wasn't already

Eventually I will notice

That I died before I got married

Even the church is against

Me having a love-life

Just the way that I am

Even my bank account is unsuitable

To support having a woman

If the world is right about me

I will stay without a chance

To ever take another

__by her hand

I dread the day

That I die single
