Sitting here daydreaming of the times we shared
when time wasn't important
when you ran fingers through my hair
reminiscing of a time of disembark
When our ship sailed away into the dark

Our love turned into fights
complicated situations manifested into light

Where do I start?
Where can I begin?
Tell me what's in your heart or take the risk
of never knowing how we fell apart
how can I move forward if we haven't talked?

I don't speak when I'm around you
I'm afraid of rejection
My thoughts surround you
But you never catch the interjections

You never say how you feel
This is so confusing can this be real?
Why live and turn on love?
When tears are falling from above

This can't be true love
Maybe just obsession
No, definitely not that
My pride won't make that a suggestion

I don't own you

you are not my possession

but this relationship is carrying me

into a great depression

We will always be bonded

Until there is a confession.

Every time I walk away
You beg me to stay

When I'm with you it feels safe

When we are apart I feel chafe

Maybe I'll wait another ten years
Got to face my rejection
Got to face my fears

The heavens sang and the clouds did part
When I met you

I felt my heart
Never felt this way
help me find a place
Should I leave ? Should I stay?
Say how you feel so I can go my way
Tell me now before it's too late
or never knowing 'til my death a waits.
