Poem about lovers off and on.

An Angel shined his heavenly light

The day you and I first took sight

I was inspired by your appearnce

Your face, your clothes, and even your earrings

I wanted to have you all to myself

I couldn't think of no one else

You stayed on my mind all day long

I was anticipated to get this on

but like I lady I prolonged

To see if what we had was weak or strong

Soon after, we broke up

because of people that envied us

my first mistake was letting you go

I waited impatiently by the phone

hoping and waiting all alone

Praying that this time, I'll hear your tone

Summer left and school started

but you and I were still departed

In November, I gave you a call

to check how my baby was doing so far

I came to see you for the umpteenth time

When I saw you my heart was on cloud nine

when you gave me that sweet kiss

It felt like springtime and flower mist

Now here we are blinded by true love

you flew into my heart like a beautiful dove

God sent my angel from up above

You have many qualities only I can see

And it'll be with me until eternity

because you will forever be a part of me

I really can’t understand how I’m lucky enough to find a poem by you, published in 2012, that I’m the first reader smart enough to give you a “Like”, & a comment! 137 readers have read this, left, & never posted a comment or a like! Incredible for a piece with which you have done such a fine job! Well I for one, am weighing in on it! I say you are great!
