Emotions burst inside of me.

You come into my view.

And smiling, you just say "Hello!"

Then add, "How are you?"

I'd love to say everything.

The feelings- mad and glad.

But your face makes me think again,

And I know that I am sad.

Sad because you like her.

Her energy and flair.

Sad because I'm close to her,

AND you, and that's not fair.

I want you to feel happiness.

You deserve it more than me.

But promise me you'll get with her,

And I'll leave you both to be.

The saddest part is that I know,

That time will bring more pain.

Watching you while you're with her,

And I'll be the one to blame.

For all the hopes and dreams,

That I must leave behind.

And while I'm here- thinking of you,

She's all that's on your mind.

Emotions burst inside of me.

You come into my view.

And when you ask me how I am,

I'll just laugh back at you.
