I know! I know! I have been off for ages! But it's school people! Stressing out! Anyway, here's a little something I concocted recently. Perhaps you get the general idea...

It's easy for you to turn away,

Use your arrogance as a shield.

It's easy for you to bite your upper lip

And not talk- keep your lips sealed.

I suppose in a way I pity you,

It's not your fault you've grown cold.

I suppose in a way I'm impressed,

That you think this won't unfold.

Soon, my love, the world will know.

You'll have nowhere to hide.

Soon, my love, you'll wake up

To yourself and to your pride.

And yes of course, I too am proud,

Can show a cold reserve,

And yes of course you're much like me,

Thinking it's what they deserve.

Let's lie a little longer,

Perhaps you'll make up your mind.

Let's lie to all the observers,

This delusion is divine.
