Talk to me, please.

Your voice eliminates that sound of impending doom.

That deafening beat in my heart.

He turns the corner.

I will not be undone.

Look at me, please.

Perhaps I won't notice him and he won't notice me.

Oh, the shame of it all.

You get suspicious.

I will not be undone.

Laugh at me, please.

So I may not wear this expression of distress.

The feeling of being totally stumped.

Your laugh should help.

Go from me, please.

Banish yourself from empty promises and hurt.

Be aware that this is my fault.
