I read a book in my English class, I'm pretty sure it was called Shattered. Its was pretty good so I decided to make a poem about it.

Withing these walls of solitude
Drowning in fakeless blood
The tears and bodies are endless
This shelter begins to flood

The smell of alcohol is strong
Not one bottle left full
Its what happens to unfortunate souls
For them,
death is the toll

Tears storm down like bowling balls
At rock bottom; bottles all lined up in a row
Waiting, waiting to be shattered
Taunting like "I told
you so"

Bloody faces, limbs and all
Cover the placid earth
Some left alive, yet broken
Others left in a herse

Their souls lay traped
In briny depths
Forever eyes unseeing

Soul's torn and tattered, their broken
 hearts
Slowly slowly beating..
