There are no mysteries like the mysteries of sex

How’s the secular so sacred that you shiver when you recollect?

How does the universe gyroscope each caress?

Yet how can holy communion inspire such regret?

 

The relics of old rituals dance in mirrors unreflecting

This isn’t the now that then they were expecting

In the ripest moment they finished their perfecting

And sweetness overwhelmed in the instant of connecting

 

I need infinitely more
