Actions: Reagan plops down on the sofa; Alex takes a seat, Dr. Robinson talks to them, Alex and Reagan Argue, Dr. Robinson talks to them, everyone laughs, they exit the office
Dr. Robinson: Okay, I can see that there is already some tension. This is the perfect way to begin our session. Who would like to talk first?
Alex: I can’t believe you purged with me standing right outside the bathroom
Reagan: Well I wouldn’t have had to purge if you didn’t bring me into the food court.
Alex: Reagan, why can’t you just admit that you need help?
Reagan: Okay, fine. I do need help. But not from you guys. You don’t know what it’s like to me be. You don’t know what it’s like to have bulimia. Have someone yelling at you every time you even think about food. Having someone make your body hurt when you won’t purge. Being afraid of gaining weight all the time. You don’t get it. And until you’ve lived a day in my shoes, you never will.
Alex: Baby please, just tell me how to help you. I hate seeing you this way. Just please tell me, I’ll do anything.
Dr. Robinson: Reagan, why don’t we do what we’ve been talking about for a while now
Reagan: NO! I’m not going into the hospital. I promised myself that I would never go into one!
Alex: C’mon let’s just go to the ER and see what they sayafter they evaluate you
Reagan: No, I’m not going into that ER. The only way I would go into there was if I got shot. And that’s only because BMC is the best place to go if you have a gunshot wound.
Dr. Robinson: So what’s it going to be Reagan
Reagan: Fine I’ll do it, but only because I don’t know what I would do if I were to lose you Alex.
Alex and Reagan hug, they exit the office
