Beloved,

I thought you loved me, but I was wrong. The song bird no longer visits my windowsill with its lullabies of love.  I was such a fool, the mirror in my bathroom tells me so, as tears roll down my eyes. I’ve tried to be over you, but my heart has been conquered by a ruthless love that took me hostage.

Even If I was able to forget you, I don’t think I’d want to. How can one stand against the power of the sea? Such are the waves of my never ending love that crash against the walls of my broken heart.

It’s a difficult thing trying to convince your heart to break itself.  Pain has many octaves that when struck render a beautiful harmony of anguish.

Please tell me, how do I forget your face, your lips or the moments when we became one?

I dared to love you, but luck it seems has no business in the affairs of love. I must now garner all of my strength and cast your memory into the sea and break this spell that your love has cursed me with. Such is my love for you, such is my punishment.

But, I still love you.
