I climbed the steep hill of the mountain top, 

and reached the pantheon of my dreams.

But it was in the valleys where I learned about suffering,

pain and the low points of life.  

 

It was hear where I also learned, 

about the divine from children, the elderly

and in the service of those in need.

 

These are the necessary tools in the education of souls,

that purge the human spirit,

from the cosmic stream of impermanence.
