This was a poem I made for my dad. It is the questions I have always wanted him to answer but could never ask him because he is never around. So dad if you ever read this...please answer theses questions for me. This was written when I was 14.

Where have you been all this time?

Where are you now?

You were never there for me.

You never got to know the real me.

I've only seen you four times in my life.

I'm 14 and don't know how you feel about me.

Was I a mistake to you?

Or was I what you truly wanted but couldn't handle?

I feel like no more than trash to you.

Is it me, or is it you?

You hang up on me when I call.

You won't talk to me at all.

How can I call you dad?

I don't even call you father anymore.

You're a guy I don't know.

You helped bring me into this world.

I've grown up without you and have become a fine young woman.

So, what do you have to say for yourself?

I need my questions answered.

The only person that knows these answers is you.
