If poetry be a speech then hearty diction is a must,

Bathed in silver ornaments, smile rejuvenating faithful lust-

A moment under her shadow seeks to soar past eternal trust,

All held silently in her eyes, enlightened by a poets' thirst

to paint an image, confined to secrets within a heart;

If poetry be a painting then finest brush strokes make,

Being faithful to that visage nor any gentle shade forsake-

So born from love’s true image as dusky silken shadows break,

Thus held in pastel beauty, the soul’s sweet breath to take,

And tell in tinted verses wherein love’s secrets start.

Mystic in creation, debated poetically through diction,

Glory beneath those wings provide hindrance to predictions,

Seeks to embrace a moment’s truth in hallucinated friction

That remains silent itself but speaks of majestic addictions

To hold me captivated in poems- clandestine yet to reward;

In waking fantasy she walks, as visions from a dream

That lives in passions’ image now portrayed in every scene,

As dark enchanting ripples catching starlight in a stream

That steal my soul, the ardent willing captive to her scheme.

Forever dwelling spellbound by the beauty of her art.
