The moon in all her beauty watches up there from the night sky ,

For she is an eternal wonder,

she can never die.

She dances with the stars at night,

She will never tell you if she's alright

but it must be lonely for her up there just with identical stars,

with suns and planets like saturn and mars.

Meeting nothing new,

The world is in her view ,

Watching everyone from a far,

A world in which she longs and dreams of

But knows she can never be a part of.

A lost soul,

A love we can never touch,

we can never reach,

but is forever in our view.

She'll never know how her beauty shine,

So bright it cuts through the darkness,

Brightening up our cold and lonely nights.

Our lonely moon.
