Man in the Mist

 "I never thought about changing my life. I was always happy with the the way my life was going. But it all happened so fast...


I was a school teacher in a public school some where. I don't remember much of the details, I know how i was changed into a blood sucking beast. Yes I am a vampire...


One day after school I was late. so I took a schortcut. I never knew it would affect my life so much...As i was saying, I took a schortcut through the park. the sun had already gone and my only source of light was the Moon. It was a full moon that night.


Then I saw her. Her white hair flowing around her. It was asif the wing was plaing with it. Her skin was as white as snow. Her eyes, they were a shade of purple I've never  seen before. She smiled.


I was attracted towards her. I thought about who I was, my happy and sad days...And that was it...My mind went blank.


She slowely came toward me. Then she smiled and whispered in my ears "Join us or Die" She placed her hand on my shoulder and leaned towards my neck. I could feel the pain. I had to choose...To live as a vampire or to die as a human..


I whispered gathering all my strength "I want to live". She withdrew her fangs which were now covered my blood and smiled before she disappered.


This was it...my human life was over...Now I live as one of them...I create more like myself...I live as the Man in the Mist...
