Just Another

If there is already someone romantic,

uncouth,

appearing philanthropic,

never telling truth,

Someone who is liked by all,

but is not likeable or caring.

Is actually just a thrall,

to his own craving.

Then, why do you want me to be so?

You call me childish,

just 'cause I don't go with the flow.

Individuality is something I relish.

I will not be Just Another,

just because you suddenly decided I act wrong.

Though pain of loss of you I will smother,

I shall cherish memories I know belong.

And I hope,

with all my heart,

That you'll get over this trope,

and close the distance that now sets us apart.
