*Never  enough*

Growing up is hard to do.

You feel all this unwanted pressure.

Even though no one close to you will admit it,

They aren’t ready for you to fail.

They say, “It’s your time, make your own mistakes.”

Don’t be fooled, they don’t mean it.

It’s just something they have to say.

Truth is, you make “your own mistake” they will be disappointed.

People just want what’s best for you.

It’s true.

Just don’t make your own mistake because you’ll hear about it forever.

They say “We don’t expect you to be perfect.”

Who do they think they are kidding?

If we aren’t what society says is perfect, we fail.

We get thrown down, but we get back up.

We try, and try, and try, but in the end what are we?

We think we are successful, but everyone is waiting for the next step.

Nothing is ever good enough anymore.

I’m sick of trying, why aren’t we aloud to be who we want?

Why do we have to be afraid?
