How Else Do You Save Man? Flames lick against my cracked palm, Winds blow my hair away from my freckled face, Winter snow falls to the frozen solid ground, Sparks fly but then calm.
Around me they fight for no reason, Wondrous and peaceful magic now a powerful weapon, Disturbing nature and killing our own kind, Murder is our form of ultimate treason. Human nature shows brightly around me, Slow motion sets in as swords clang and jar, Life here has turned into a never-ending blood bath, And now those most special feel ever so tiny.
Will they ever stop? Do they know what harm they cause? We, the children, know of the destruction, But they, the adults, just let the Earth’s life drop. So I do the one and only thing I can, The dancing flames upon my hand grow, They burst from my palm and ignite those around, And I know it’s cruel, but how else do you save man, Other than to show them the pain that they cause?
