Light strolls out in the middle of night,
The chirping of crickets,
The moonlight lighting up the sidewalks,
Darkness hanging about, all around you.

Small stars litter the sky, as I tilt my head up,
And all I can think of,
Wonder of,
Is how such a beautiful night could possibly exist
In a world with so many hidden secrets?

A world with so many difficulties...
What beauty could possibly live
In such a damned world as this?
