Oh, little butterfly,
The look on your face,
As you wilted.

Wings drooped, as if in relief,
To finally let go of the burden called life.
I don't blame you, little one.

Your once shining eyes, beaming at me under the sun,
Your touches, that would send my skin tingling.
How I'd hold you, when it's dark at night, and we'd watch the stars.
Your liveliness.
Your voice.
Your breath.

My little wilting butterfly,
The one I've kept in a cage for so long,
You've escaped me now.
No longer will your wings be raised,
No longer will I hear your soft singing.

I only hope to follow you,
Someday soon,

My little wilting butterfly...
With out you by my side,
How can I possibly find love again?
