transition to death

Poem by: richard attapan

Summary

I have no idea of a poem's make-up. Just felt like writing this. It is not my inner feelings as I have the best partner in the world.

A BROKEN PROMISE

I am with you but yet I stay alone.

I see your reflection but you only stare back.

Empty eyes and empty thoughts...

Empty smile and empty mind.

Wewere always together and would never part.

You see me and I look scared.

I am scared but you do not care.

My mind screams with terror and you do not respond.

Our life is over...at least mine.
