I wrote this poem because at one point I had writer's block, it happens to the best of us. This is one of my favorite poems because in this poem I use a "Pen" interchangeably as my mind, and also as a literal pen. Enjoy.

My Pen, My Pen, oh where is my Pen?
It has left the lion's den.
Little boy lost in the sand.
On this uneasy land.
His Pen, His Pen, where is his Pen?
Lost without his Pen.
Left with his pad in his hand.
Thoughts are getting lost.
Hurry before they're gone!
Hurry! he's starting to frost!
Mind turns cold.
Winter starts to blow.
His Pen! Where is it!?!
Nothing to warm his soul!
Words and thoughts are fading slow!
His heart cease to show!
The little boy doesn't grow.
Mouth shuts, eyes close.
And he says............
My Pen. My Pen.
Where are you my Friend?
