My take on how it feels when we are hurt by those close to us. Not really autobiographical, but I think we've all experienced this from both sides at some time.

IF YOU HAVE TO ASK

The sun hides beneath the earth,

Every time you hurt me,

The wind breathes a heavy sigh,

Whenever you dessert me,

The moon fakes a crescent smile,

The second youregret me,

The rain cries an angels tear,

The moment you forget me,

And if I never let these feelings show,

Then ask the sun, the wind,

The moon, the rain,

For they will know.
