Black, black, black as night,

I always win, but I've lost this fight.

Red, red, red is pain,

I lose, lose, lose, and I never gain.

Green, green, green with envy,

Watch for the sharks, it's a feeding frenzy.

White, white, white as a ghost,

She's a little bit different from most.

The red, it laces thorugh the white,

Her heart is black, devoid of light.

Her skin is tattered, cut to shreds,

Her life unraveling thread by thread.

The white of skin and red of scars,

Show you who people really are.

She tries to hide them, that's for sure,

But when she hides, she collects more.

It's an endless circle, going on and on,

A broken record, with the same sad song.

She feels so lost, she wants it to end,

She hates herself, doesn't want to pretend.

She's just so lonely, and so, so sad,

Everything aches, it hurts so bad.

She hurts herself and endures the pain,

It gets to the point where she can't feel a thing.

She takes a pill to sleep at night,

Trying so hard to win this fight.

She has finally lost it, and  it's simply tragic,

Looking at the pills, as if they're magic.

She looks at the pills, lined up in a row,

Her heart says "Yes", but her mind says "No".

She goes with her heart and fades away,

She is no longer with us here today.........

Black, Green, White, and Red,

The girl you knew is simply dead.
