The Loudest Sound Of Silence
I am silent,
My room is silent,
My gaze is silent,
And silent is my phone..
When will there be the knock-knock?
All that echoes is the ancient tick-tock.
The homes are silent,
Deep in a silent sleep.
The night is silent.
A slow silence does the moon weep.
The breeze did make a move,
To break the ice that covers my phone,
But it was 'hushed' by the trees alone.
The world is silent,
The city has lost its noise.
When did the city become so silent?
I ask, when did it gain such poise?
I ask my God,
Y is He silent too?
His silence still gave me a 100 'replies'....
