Prayers for the Pure

Day 1
The world has lost a man today,
As our small village was washed away.
My dearest poet, your legacy lives on,
For I carry your child in my womb.
He’ll live for your talent of poem and song.
And for you we’ll make an illustrious tomb.

Day 2
A horrible accident upon our child,
Such an untainted soul so mild.
May God keep him, for he is with you now.
He entered the world too early, upon the ship’s bow.
Please comfort him, and likewise for me.
I miss your lyrics, your melody.

Day 3
My life is worthless, I can no longer tarry.
Love has no walls, and I am ready.
We walk the same road, but I’ve reached its end.
My dearest apologies to my sisters I send.
My poet calls me to heaven’s gate.
My child is with him, such a lovely fate.

Omnia Vincit Amor
Love Conquers All
